6. Plugins and tools

YouTube with extended data protection

Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA.

We use YouTube in extended data protection mode. This mode secures, according to YouTube, that no information about visitors to the website is stored before the video has been viewed. Transmission of data to YouTube partners is not definitely eliminated by the extended data protecion mode. Thus YouTube creates a link to Google DoubleClick independent of whether you view a video.

As soon as you start a video on our website a connectin to a YouTube sever is created. Thus the YouTube server is informed of which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged in to your YouTube account then your surfing behaviour can be directly linked to your personal profile. You can block this by logging out of your YouTube account.

Furthermore, YouTube can install various cookies on your terminal. These enable YouTube to collect information about the visitors to our website. This information can be used to generate video statistics, improve user friendliness and to protect against fraud. The cookies remain in your terminal until you delete them.

The start of a YouTube video may also launch other data processing processes over which we have no influence.

Use of YouTube is for an appropriate representation of our online offer. This represents a legitimate interest in Art. 6 Para. 1  f DSGVO.

Further information about data protection in YouTube can be found in their data protection statement at https://policies.google.com/privacy/

Google Web Fonts

To maintain a unified appearance of text in this site web fonts from Google have been used. These fonts are installed locally and do not use a connection to Google servers.

Google Maps

This site uses the Google Maps map service via an API. It is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of making our website appealing and to facilitate the location of places specified by us on the website. This constitutes a justified interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO.

Further information about handling user data, can be found in the data protection declaration of Google at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/.
