Compliance with Sanctions
Dear Business Partner,
With this letter we would like to inform you that EA Elektro-Automatik products are highly likely to be affected by the EU sanctions against Russia and in particular may be covered by Annex XVI of Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014, Art. 3f paragraph 1 VO and Annex XXIII of Regulation (EU) No. 833/2014, Art. 3k paragraph 1 VO. We therefore prohibit to sell, supply, transfer or export our products directly or indirectly to Russia or for use in Russia. The same applies to Belarus in accordance with Regulation (EC) No. 765/2006.
Not only the EA Elektro-Automatik Group, but every company distributing EA Elektro-Automatik Group products may be subject to the aforementioned sanctions. This letter is intended to protect you and your company from violating the aforementioned sanctions and thereby exposing yourself to significant legal consequences. Therefore, please ensure that you do not supply any EA Elektro-Automatik Group products to Russia, Belarus or the territories occupied by Russia.
We would like to emphasize that not only direct deliveries to Russia/Belarus, but also deliveries via third countries, in particularly via so-called non-EU countries such as the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Kyrgyz Republic are prohibited.
Such a delivery can be considered as circumvention of the existing sanctions and may be subject to sanctions to the same extent.
Please also inform your customers about the far-reaching sanctions that exist for EA Elektro-Automatik products. You are welcome to use letter below for this purpose.
